Senior Year Week 1

Its been a crazy first week of school. I couldn't believe how much homework I was getting in my first week back, I defiantly was not ready for that. It was a big reality check for me and I didn't like it to much. I am a Senior at Washtneaw Technical Middle College, so right now I am taking classes at Washtenaw Community College. I am only taking 4 classes but it amounts to 14 college credits. I am also taking a risk by taking a 5 credit Spanish class, which my mom thought I was crazy for taking and I probably am. I am also taking Composition 2 which ENG 226, which I didn't think would be to tough, but I was wrong. I should never go into any class excepting something because I will get something completely different. I didn't think there would b e a lot of Homework in this class and there is a ton. I am also taking a Scriptwriting class and a Persuasion class for my associates degree. I like Scriptwriting a lot the teacher is really nice, but for Persuasion the teacher is a little different. So all in all Classes went well this first week.

As many of you know I am Catholic, lots of you don't know, that I am discerning whether or not to be a Priest or not. God has been doing a lot in my life this summer. I went to Steubenville which was an amazing experience and I got to know Fr. Mark Rutherford a whole lot better, and really felt the pull towards the Priesthood even harder down at Stubie. I also went to Pine Hills a great Christian camp that I was a Junior Counselor for this year and just saw what God did all the kids lives and mine. Then I went to NSLC were I had the time of my life and I could have ask for better people to share it with. Then these past weeks since then God has really been pulling me towards the Priesthood. I had 2 meeting this week discerning the Priesthood one with Fr.Mark and one with Fr.Jerry the Director of Seminarians. In these God has helped me a lot and shown me through these 2 great men of God, that I can be me and love Michigan football, still while being a Priest.

I am in the process of applying to College Seminary up At St.John Vianney where I would double major in Philosophy and Broadcasting. I am also applying to Central Michigan, Marquette, Grand Valley State, Western Michigan, Franciscan University.

I know that this is a shock for some of you and I hope we can still be friends, but God is calling me towards both Sports Broadcasting and the Priesthood. Which one I am going to do well that's for God to decide.
